About me...

Hi, I'm Peter Tihanyi and this is my website about those small but important events of my life and things I'm interested in, mostly technology and software development. After so many years of making websites for other companies, I really wanted something that I can put on the net and be able to point at it: here, this is mine and I made it from scratch! Command line tools and small applications don't quite have that impact. No big deal, anybody can have a blog today by registering at any of the countless free hosting services, but this one is mine which makes it a bit special. At least to me.

Just like I wrote it in the introduction article, some of you may know me from the so-called demoscene, I've been a coder in the Commodore 64 formation called Resource using the nickname Dale. Programming has always been my hobby so it was obvious to choose this profession. These days I'm working for a small but cozy little company e-takeaway.dk in Denmark, creating and managing everything on the technical side to make the business run and grow. I was born in Budapest, Hungary but recently I moved to the USA to live with my lovely Leslie, we got married and stuff.
